About Museum of Future Sports

Building community through the power of play

Museum of Future Sports (MoFS), is a CA educational 501c3 organization conceived and launched in 2018 by founders Marque Cornblatt and Douglas Burnet as an expansion to their original drone sports organization, Aerial Sports League. Recognizing the significant technology literacy gap among Bay Area youth, MoFS was launched to promote the development of future sports, and connect underserved communities with opportunities to experience technology, and inspire and educate the next generation through the power of play.

Future Sports Manifesto

Games, play and sport have been around since the dawn of humans and have always been a reflection of time, place and culture. Future Sports are rooted in digital, virtual and immersive technologies, and connect with audiences on new, interactive platforms unimaginable just a few years ago. What defines a future sport and how can these technologies be used to create educational opportunities for underserved youth?

Testimonials

“Given the opportunity, I would work with Marque and Douglas again in an instant. I offer my most sincere and enthusiastic recommendation for others considering their services.”

Joan Hammell

Senior Director External Communication Comcast

I highly recommend MoFS for any opportunities available. Their "build & fly" program had a direct impact on the 25 youth who participated. With partners such as MoFS, youth feel empowered to consider careers in STEM fields.
